Let me eat cake!

Can someone please invent a cake that goes well with tea and doesn’t make you put on any weight? In fact it should make you loose weight. Yes- Β that’s it. I need a dessert that makes me loose weight.

Sort of like Angel Delight made of Slim Fast milkshake.

While you are pregnant you think a cheeky bit of cake is a well deserved treat, when the baby comes along cake is a comfort and also a well needed sugar hit to help you stay awake but moving forward I’ve now run out of excuses. Well almost – I’m writing this blog instead of doing the first day of the 30 Day Shred so this is working very well as an excuse.

Loosing weight is hard and that is a very important point. If loosing weight was easy we would all be very thin and able to eat our negative calorie cake but its not so we can’t. Instead we must slog away in deeply unattractive workout gear going an even more unattractive shade of pink.

I’m starting this new diet today – having tried Weight Watchers (a great success but doesn’t fit into my monthly budget anymore) , Slim Fast (total and amusing failure) and at one point some strange tablets that seemed to make me go to the loo more but no actual weight loss. So today is a new day and I’m going to go with the old fashioned method of eating less and moving more which is going to bring Jillian Michaels back into my life.

Unless someone has invited Slim Fast Angel Delight during the time I’ve written this?

Damm.

Better go work out then.

Hahaha, let me know when you find the recipe for this magical weight-loss cake! πŸ˜› Good luck with your new weight loss mission, usually the good old fashioned way is most effective for losing weight healthily and keeping it off. The problem with those fad-diety things like weight watchers is that once you go off the program it’s nearly impossible to keep the weight off. Keep up the good work, you can do this!
